Susanna is proud of her garden, so proud that she wants to open it to discriminating members of the public – and she sticks to the rule that has served her throughout ten years of marriage: Susanna knows best. After a good deal of hard work by her rather erratic handyman, she waits eagerly for the Open Gardens Society’s verdict… Only her husband Bill is unsurprised when Christine, the inspector, gives their garden less than full marks.
